To all relatives and next-of-kin
While we are all looking forward to further relaxations in the Covid-related restrictions, we need to be very mindful of the fact that we are still responsible for the total wellbeing of those entrusted to our care. As a group, the elderly are the most clinically vulnerable members of our society.
General guidance issued by the government on the 12th July 2021 advises that care homes should continue to maintain appropriate infection control and prevention processes.
In view of the ever-increasing rise in the daily infection rates across the country, we believe that it would be too risky to relax the Covid limitations in our care homes just yet. It is therefore our intention to continue with the measures that have to date protected all who live and work in our homes. These include proof of a negative result via a Lateral Flow Test, pre-booked visits and the continued use of a face mask while inside the care home.
As always, your continued co-operation is greatly appreciated.
