Residential care is ideal if you need long term support with personal care. This may include assistance with aspects of your daily life such as washing, bathing, showering, getting dressed, eating and drinking, or mobility.
Residential care is a great opportunity to meet new people, develop new friendships, and live in a safe and secure environment.
Every resident has their own room. Spend as much time in the company of others or on your own as you wish. We have various activities taking place during the day and residents can take part in any of them.
Enjoy all meals in our restaurant, however, residents can also choose to eat in their bedrooms. Bay Tree Court Care Home also has private dining areas for special family events.
Our housekeeping team will look after the cleanliness of your room and your laundry.
Wherever possible, your life at Bay Tree Court will be governed by your priorities.

What kind of special training do the caregivers have?
Our care staff receive induction when they start working at Bay Tree Court to make sure they understand our ethos and expectations. All care staff who are new to working in a care environment are required to complete a Care Certificate, which is a nationally recognised foundation training for care staff. Staff are also able to access higher levels of qualifications. Throughout their stay at Bay Tree Court, all staff are expected to attend mandatory training in a variety of topics, such as Health & Safety, Medicines Management, Dementia, Infection Control, and many others.
How do you evaluate caregivers?
All staff are supported periodically by one-to-one meetings with their supervisor. The purpose of the meetings is to support the worker in reaching their objectives, recognise achievement and to guide and advise. In addition, each worker has an annual appraisal where their performance over the previous year is evaluated.
Does the facility offer transportation?
Bay Tree Court Care Home owns wheelchair accessible vehicles. We go out on external trips with those who are able to participate. The Activities Co-ordinators arrange and manage the trips and they also accompany the residents on these excursions.
Spacious purpose built en-suite rooms with wifi and a television point
