At Bay Tree Court we cater for the following categories of care:
We currently have dedicated residential beds for use by residents who do not require continuous nursing care, but do require assistance with personal care. Care is delivered according to the care plan, as much as possible formulated with the participation of the resident or their relatives.
We have experience in looking after people in the early stages of dementia and the home has a designated area for people living with mild and early dementia, supported by multi-disciplinary teams enabling us to provide continuing care should the dementia progress.
These packages of short term stays are designed to provide a break for people caring for elderly relatives at home. It is a flexible service, aimed to either provide an opportunity for a carer to take a holiday or, alternatively, could take the form of a regular arrangement, e.g. one week every two months.
Our sympathetic and experienced team of care staff, in conjunction with the trained District Nursing staff provide the palliative “end-of-life” support.
Designed for people who are recovering from an illness or surgery and need care for a short period before returning to their own home. The level of care is always adjusted to the needs and preferences of the resident.
