The senior management and Supervisory Team are all well-experienced and care-committed leaders. These include;
Registered Home & Site Manager
Robert has over 25 years experience in a variety of roles in care home environments and has been the home’s CQC Registered Manager since 2018 Robert has the overall responsibility and accountability for the Care Home and the Independent Living residents.

Patricia is a qualified nurse with extensive geriatric experience of the needs of the elderly, having looked after older people in both clinical settings and in care homes. Patricia reports directly to Robert and is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of care and, where required, the organisation of the external healthcare professionals.
Independent Living Co-ordinator
Jane has been at Bay Tree Court for ten years; one of her key functions is to ensure that all new tenants settle into their new environment. Jane is the link between the independent living units and the care home.
She ensures that these residents are kept abreast of all the activities available in the Centre and, depending on individual choice, facilitates their participation.
Jane also arranges appointments with visiting opticians, dentists and and chiropodists when needed. She is the “go-to” person for all the needs of the Independent Living community.
Business Administration Manager
Janet has worked in a number of financial roles; her primary responsibilities include payroll and revenue management which entails liaison with residents, next-of-kin and the different local authorities. In addition, Janet interacts on a daily basis with the residents and the relevant central personnel.
Independent Living Handyman
Steve, previously the Centre’s maintenance officer, is the person who looks after the basic maintenance needs of those living in the flats and bungalows. Steve enjoys a well-deserved reputation for his attention to detail and is available to the occupants of the flats and bungalows for all “minor” adjustments and repairs. Steve reports directly to Jane.
Caroline is the home’s longest serving employee, having been at the home for close to 25 years!
Both she and Gill are highly committed to organising and implementing daily activity programmes, individual and group, in which the residents choose to participate. A key focus of their agenda is the arranging of external trips which enable the residents to go on shopping excursions and visit local areas of interest.
Independent Living Housekeeper
Claire reports to Jane Cannon and is responsible for the cleanliness and laundry requirements of those living in the flats and bungalows. Together with Jane and Steve, Claire provides a consistent and personal contact with the Independent Living Residents, the vast majority of whom live alone.
Head of Care
Tricia has been an integral member of the Bay Tree Court care team since 2003. Tricia reports to Pat Mackenzie and is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate care is delivered in accordance with the Care Plan. She is very much involved in the induction and ongoing mentoring of the care staff.
Max has made it his vocation to understand the dietary needs of the residents while always focussed on accommodating their personal preferences when creating the various menus on offer. His acknowledged expertise is in providing imaginative fare for the “Special Meal” occasions such as Easter, St. David’s Day, the Queen’s Birthday and Christmas.
Max has been the driving force in the home’s retention of its Five-Star Food Rating.
Debbie has been employed at Bay Tree Court since 2010 and is responsible for the cleanliness of the home and the ordering of the housekeeping supplies and meeting infection control requirements. Debbie supervises a dedicated group of cleaners and laundry personnel.
Paul not only ensures that the Centre is compliant with the statutory Health and Safety legislation, he also carries out all the major repairs and maintenance. Paul is the “point-of-contact” for all the external contractors who visit the Centre to carry out the major repairs and mandatory inspections.
