Bay Tree Court Care Home opened in 1998 as a purpose-built, en-suite, 58-bed home for the elderly, regulated by the Care Quality Commission. It is located in the heart of the village of Prestbury, less than 3 miles from the centre of Cheltenham.

The Home is rated “Good” by the CQC and places significant emphasis, not only on the comfortable accommodation and ancillary communal areas, but equally importantly, on the safety and holistic wellbeing of the residents.
Since late 2019, there has been a “rolling-programme” of upgrade both in the home and the Independent Living flats and bungalows.
The works undertaken include refurbishment of two coffee lounges and new furnishings throughout in the Care Home’s dining rooms and additional upgrades to the external landscaping.
The Centre is managed by a Registered Home Manager approved by the CQC.
In addition, and in accordance with our philosophy of individualised “Care with Compassion”, the home has a dedicated and full time Care Manager.
The home has a well-deserved reputation for its activities programmes, arranged by two dedicated activities co-ordinators who organise both internal and external activities in which residents are encouraged to participate.
It is important to note that the actual level and type of care that each resident receives in our care home is based on the initial pre-admission assessment. Whenever possible the resident and next-of-kin are invited to participate in the review.
